I’m excited to share my Ozora set so that anyone who wasn’t there could take a virtual part into the musical journey at one of the world’s best dance floors 🙌🏼 

As I see it this set was closer as well as a reborn. 
It wasn’t easy choosing which tracks to play on that overwhelming Ozora main dance floor. 
I kept asking myself what can I give back to that dance floor that inspired me so greatly to compose some of my best tracks. Eventually, I believe what went down was the very best of Gorovich - a musical journey with a unique color. Trance as I take it 💥 
This experience reminded me why I do what I do. I feel blessed and full-hearted. I’m inspired to explore new directions of creation and make new music.

On Nov 6th, 2013 the world music community lost a prolific contributor and friend, Cheb i Sabbah. I had the pleasure of knowing him through DJing with him, as well as hiring him for several festivals...and of course listening and dancing to him for 20 years. This morning I spontaneously put this little mix together that includes many of the artists he worked with...thank you to my dear friend Gaudi ( https://soundcloud.com/gaudi) and his brief interview with Cheb I which became the intro to this mix.

A short test track I quickly composed to verify the timing of a primitive sync-to-tape device I invented in 1981 for a client's 24 tracks Tascam 1" reel-to-reel studio.

Using one of the 24 tape tracks, my device provided sync signals to both Roland TB-303 Bass Line and TR-808 Rhythm Composer, saving precious tracks and eliminating one tape generation for the whole drum and bass sections.
