Description: This was the title piece I wrote for an art exhibition in Perth Scotland. Michael Craig did a series of paintings inspired by the war in Kosovo and I wrote a soundtrack that was played in the art gallery. It was my first attempt at writing anything other than pop music, needless to say its pretty dark stuff.

This is the closing piece from 'Untied Nations', anyone who has seen the movie 'The Cook, the thief, his wife & her lover' will hear the how Michael Nyman yet again influenced me.

Tracks 8 & 9 that merge into each other from the 'Untied Nations' project. Listening back to this now I can hear the influence of Ryuichi Sakamoto.

Track 7 from the 'Untied Nations' project, the artist Michael Craig titled the names of the paintings - however he didnt explain to me what each canvas was about - therefore keeping it very open to interpretation. For me I looked at the painting and thought about discovering a mass grave - this lead me to thinking about a higher being and prayer - I managed to find a sample of a monk giving thanks at the end of the day - I used his voice and weaved the simple music below him.
