At the turn of the last century myself and a friend, got together and wrote down all our favourite tracks from the 80's. We then set about re-creating them, using the bassline from one track and a lead line from another to create a montage of familiar melodies which we then went out and played live. We didnt listen to the original records and never sampled them, therefore we did it all from memory, there are samples from radio and movies. Our band was called Omerta and the collection of tracks which we sold at our gigs was called appropriately enough: Homage

Lazy Farmer  -  Love Song

In 2010 I attended a funeral in Thailand and was touched by the chanting of the Monks, so much so I recorded them. I then wrote a simple theme to accompany them. This proved to be a very successful blend of media. Over the months that followed I met world famous trumpeter Roddy Lorimer who was gracious enough to re work the horn parts, inspired by his efforts I have remixed the track and added some percussion.
