The sound of the album is influenced by late 90’s and early 00’s techno contrasted with an avant-garde approach to recording and sound design. Throughout the album Umwelt lays down beautiful grooves and his space techno melodies in uncompromising fashion, blended with classic synthwork and run through his famous analog outboard chains. With “Dead Eyes Society” Umwelt has crafted his most powerful techno album to date and solidified himself as an exceptional artist and titanic figure of modern electronic music.

„The Fox And The Raven“ is the maiden release for Denise Rabe´s self titled label, conceived to be the channel thru which her personal, unfiltered, haunting sound will find it´s body and voice.

Exemplifying this with the 3 cuts on “The Fox And The Raven”: driven, hypnotic, techno with a chasing sense of urgency, balanced with eerie lamenting melodies, perfectly fitting the tales of lore chosen to illustrate each release like a volume in an odyssey.

Concluding this chapter, a limited pressing of 300 reproductions serigraphed, embossed and scented, echoing how like fables, music, occupies a tangible moment in the listeners life and space.

On The World of Monnom Black II, new artists including VTSS, DIMI (AnD), Vladimir Dubyshkin, Hadone, Fractions, LDS, Aahan and Buried Secrets all throw down tracks which fuse tight machine rhythms with intricate detail. There's also a return for many established label favourites such as UVB, Dax J, Zanias and Thomas P. Heckmann as Knarz.

To round out the compilation there’s a re-release of the timeless 1998 cut, “Devious Methods,” from legendary artist Hive, and Tellurian’s hardcore classic, “Big Bad City,” gets a new mix from Dax J.
