Getting his start back in the after hour glory days of the East Coast rave scene, Jacksonstrut has a love for music that is matched only by his passion for dancing. During a long musical revolution through many genres of electronic music he has been bringing the groove, swing, funk, soul and jack to dance floors from Nova Scotia to Quebec for the better part of two decades, closing out such clubs as Reflections, The Palace, La Sonar, Sub Rosa, Nitro, Oxygen and many others along side of some of the industries biggest names including: 
Inland Knights, Doc Martin, Fort Knox 5, Bobby C Sound TV, Snails, Rescue, DJ Mes, The Funk Hunters, A-Paul, Corduroy Mavericks, Jose Zaragoza, Iz & Diz, Dok Link, Scratch Bastid, Veev, and DJ Dan to name a few.

It's always a thrill to feature fellow Canadian house heads on the podcast.  There is so much talent up north that gets overlooked!

Whats shakin funky people!?  We are back with Volume 176 of the series, and we welcome another one of the many supremely talented artists from Oakland, Kevin Garcia aka K-Bueno!

From his early childhood in San Francisco, Kevin "K-Bueno" Garcia has always been influenced by many forms of music. Growing up listening to his father's vinyl collection, which included the likes of Stevie Wonder, The Isley Brothers, Fat Larry's Band, Bohannon, etc., or being around his grandfather listening to the various sounds of Latin Jazz & Salsa and, of course, growing up during the Golden Era of Hip-Hop and House, K-Bueno has absorbed the sounds of all these musical genres and has transformed a unique style that can only described once you are able to witness one of his sets live.

Whether putting down a House set for the deepest of the deep or one that leans more toward Hip-Hop/R&B/Top-40, K-Bueno's sets are definitely known to get the heads noddin, fingers tappin and hips shakin. He puts NO limits to his sound, as he believes that music and dance, together, is a universal language.

Whats shakin groovy people?!  We are back with Volume 177 of the series, and we are stoked to feature one of San Antonio's veteran selectors, Mike C Perez!!

Straight from the South Texas music scene Mike C's sound can be described simply as dance floor focused.  Influenced by a long list of great Disco songstresses like Diana Ross, Chaka Khan and Gloria Gaynor he is never afraid to go full diva and get your hands to the sky with a "Don't Leave Me This Way" edit.  He's been in the San Antonio\Austin Texas house and techno game since 2001 and in the last few years sparked a partnership with the Sprout: Cultivating House Music maestro DJ KINN down in San Antonio, TX. This set is a bit of a throwback as its meant to take the listener on a musical journey.

In his monthly sessions at Elsewhere Garden Bar he is blessed to play along side the best DJs in the local House Music scene.  It Truly Takes a Village!"
