Kadi, pop-soul singer-songwriter was born in Lewisham and then moved to Orpington at 7 years old where she embarked on her musical journey. Her music serves as an introspection through her experiences in hopes to inspire a sense of belonging among her listeners. Her voice carries a distinct tone that infuses elements of pop and soul. Influenced by emotionally honest artists like Demi Lovato, Fantasia, Otis Redding, and Vanessa Carlton, she finds inspiration in their ability to express raw emotions through their lyrics. Demi's music resonated with her deeply during a critical phase in her life, while Fantasia became a pivotal figure as a dark-skinned woman in the music industry who reflected her own aspirations and achievements. Currently Kadi is set to release her first album project ‘Shed This Skin’ October 25th.
