I released The Knight Errant a few years ago, and have thought about doing a remix of the tune ever since. I guess this is more like a rearrangement.  The original was in 6/8 The return is 4/4 and has a more electronic, and dare I say it, dance vibe!

Scarlet Whispers

The past, the future? None of this is "present", it is all an illusion. We, or some of us base the present from our past, even being captured by it. Somehow, the future, although it doesn't even exist takes shape on our own thoughts, of what ifs? When in fact the only thing that we know that we don't know is that... the only variable, or variables are that the future is now. the present is erased. Or so we hope?

Here is a Facebook challenge where we had to compose a 30 second musical interpretation of the picture seen here. My take is : The girl and the ape have grown up together since childhood, and have the same friendship and love shared between humans and their pets. They are having a conversation, when the ape declares, "if you truly love me, please set me free". At first the girl laughs...
