About Jerry Chiu:

San Francisco-based DJ, producer, and label boss Jerry Chiu has been a driving force in the progressive house scene for over a decade. His journey into electronic music began in the early 90s, influenced by pioneering acts such as Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, and The Prodigy. However, it was the early 2000s that marked a turning point when his passion for DJing took shape after attending immersive club events in San Francisco.

Since then, Jerry has built a reputation for delivering deep, hypnotic, and emotionally resonant sets. His sound has reached global audiences through guest appearances on esteemed internet radio platforms, including Frisky Radio, Subcode, Proton Radio, and DI.FM. In 2014, his commitment to the underground dance scene led him to establish Droid9. Expanding his vision further, he launched Droid9 South America and Droid9 Limited in 2020. The labels have since become renowned for curating forward-thinking progressive house, featuring both established and emerging artists from around the world.

Beyond his work as a label curator, Jerry remains an active figure in San Francisco’s club circuit. He has graced the decks at some of the city's most iconic venues, including Public Works, The Great Northern, Audio Club, The Mint, VIA Hotel Rooftop, and The Midway. With an unwavering dedication to the craft, he continues to push the boundaries of progressive house, ensuring its evolution remains as dynamic and captivating as ever.
