About Secretly Famous:

In just a few short years, Australian progressive house duo Secretly Famous have grown from a quiet passion project into a respected name within the global electronic music landscape. With an ever-growing presence across some of Belgium’s most revered labels—Sound Avenue, 3rd Avenue, and Future Avenue—their journey has been one of steady evolution, grounded in humility and driven by a deep love for the music.

Their work speaks volumes. Four of their tracks currently sit in Sound Avenue’s Top 10, while their standout release “Firebullet Phoenix” held the #2 spot on 3rd Avenue’s Top 10 for months—a testament to the duo’s consistency and creative momentum. But beyond the numbers, their music has earned genuine support from tastemakers across the globe.

Their 2025 album, Inspired, released on Sound Avenue in February, marked a key milestone. A deeply personal project, the album has drawn praise and five-star support from scene heavyweights including Guy J, Miss Melera, Nicolas Rada, Eelke Kleijn, and Weird Sounding Dude, among others—cementing the duo’s place within the international progressive house community.

And 2025 is shaping up to be even more prolific. Recent releases include a new original on Progressive House Argentina, alongside a packed slate of upcoming projects: a remix for Dougal Fox on Ray of Light Records—featuring reinterpretations from none other than Hernan Cattaneo and Simply City—a single dropping in April on Univack, a May EP on Polyptych, a June EP on Freegrant Music, and a follow-up to their Inspired album arriving in July via Sound Avenue. Add to that an exciting collaboration with Ricky Ryan (aka Freedo Mosho) coming soon on Electronic Groove Records.

Collaborations and remixes with renowned artists like Stan Kolev, Alan Cerra, Kris Dur, Figueras, and Billion Watchers have further extended their reach, while their own tracks have been reimagined by the likes of Cary Crank, Rockka, Poli Suifi, Akiva, Peshta Gora, and After Burn—a reflection of both their versatility and growing impact.

With airplay on more than 72 international radio stations—from Frisky Radio in New York to Ibiza Global Radio and the UK’s Groove City Radio—Secretly Famous are becoming a staple in the global progressive house ecosystem. I'm connected to electronic music since my early youth. Everything began in my childhood, I got a Casio Mini Keyboard from my dear father, who loved to play electronic organ and keyboard. As young boy, I learned to play several classic songs on the keyboard.

In my youth, I made first experiences in electronic music production with so called tracker programs like Fasttracker and Octamed on the good old Commodore Amiga home computer. Later, I loved to listen to trancy DJ sets in the weekly radio "HR3 Clubnight".

Later, I proceeded in electronic music production with workstations like Yamaha SY85. Synthesizers and sound design enthused me very much. In 1999, I moved to software synthesizers like Dream Station and later to DAWs like Orion, Fruity Loops and Reason. I made some nice tunes with them, using the power of virtual analog synthesis. Furthermore, I checked out techno workstations like the Raven and groove boxes like MC-303 and the Korg EMX-1. I also made experiences with new sequencer software, VSTs and DAWs.

In 2007, I set up a myspace music page and started digital DJing on a web readio. I affiliated with trance-is-life.de, spinning favourite trance and progressive tunes live in the weekly "Trance is Life" Radio Show. 

Since 2008, I produced several tracks with Ableton Live. I focused in sequencing and sound design, while I improved my mastering / mixing skills in order to produce classic-trancy, non-ordinary emotional and thrilling electronic tracks.
