Born in the country of samba and bossa nova, Paul EG takes off from Brazil and lands in Europe, where he immerses himself in the underground scene and shapes a sound that bridges both worlds. A former resident of Brazil’s legendary club D-Edge and founder of Minimo Imprint, he curates a discography filled with carefully crafted releases and remixes. His career reaches an important milestone with a release on KMS Records, the legendary techno label founded by Kevin Saunderson, which solidifies his place on the international underground map.

Yo, what’s good? I’m BernieRenegade, aka Rebel Frequency, and my journey’s been a wild ride through the heart of music. As a young kid, I was hooked—music wasn’t just sound, it was my pulse, my escape, my everything. Even though I didn’t chase it as a career back then, that fire never faded; it’s still burning bright, fueling every beat I craft today.

In the late ‘80s and ‘90s, I was deep in the underground, soaked in the raw energy of L.A.’s DJ culture. I lived for those outlaw warehouse parties and early raves—grimy, electric nights where the basslines shook the walls and the crowd became one. 

Those moments laid the groundwork for the EDM, electronic, and techno scenes we vibe to now. That era? It’s in my DNA, woven into every track I drop.

Over the years, I’ve tapped into something deeper: life and frequencies are intertwined, like a universal rhythm connecting us all, no matter our differences. Sound isn’t just art—it’s healing. Frequencies, vibrations, they mend my body, mind, and spirit. Music is my light, my rebellion, my frequency.
