Paulhamr started his DJ life immersed in the 90's Summer of Love era hailing from Manchester, UK, birthplace of legendary clubs like Sankeys and the Hacienda. Early influences naturally stemmed from the UK Acid house and Intelligent Drum and Bass scene following the likes of Orbital, SL2, Goldie, Digweed, LTJ Bukem's Logical Progression series and Global Underground to name but a few. Groove Armada, Omni Trio and DJ's such as Giles Peterson, Nick Warren, Pete Tong and James Zabiela have all been influential which can be heard in his melodic, harmonic journeys interlaced with funky, syncopated breaks.  Today he spins out of New York, a regular on the scene playing most of the major and underground clubs such as Sankeys, Space, Sullivan Room, Cielo, Lil Charlie's, Pacha, the 303, etc alongside names like Victor Calderone, Thugfucker, Amine Edge & Dance, Timo Maas, Rony Seikly, Serge Devant, Grass Is Greener. Whilst he sees the resurgence of true house as an overall good thing, he seeks to differentiate himself from the glut of bandwagon DJs and the over-commercialization of so called 'deep house' that unfortunately seems focused more on ticket sales and bar spends than the quality and innovation that is pivotal to true underground music.   Above all, he wants you to just have fun, feel the music and let your body and mind be a part of the eclectic underground musical journeys he seeks to take you on!
