'Hanami' is a word taken from Japanese language. It is the Japanese tradition of observing the beauty of flowers, but this word is associated with the period when the cherry tree blossom. I have tried to reflect through my music this splendid moment of the year.

The Kamakura period (jap. 鎌倉時代, Kamakura jidai; 1185-1333) is an era in Japanese history. It took its name from the Shōgun's seat of government at the time in Kamakura. It marked the rise of the warrior nobility over the court nobility in Kyōto, which still dominated in the Heian period.

Die Kamakura-Zeit (jap. 鎌倉時代, Kamakura jidai; 1185–1333) ist eine Epoche der japanischen Geschichte. Sie erhielt ihren Namen vom damaligen Regierungssitz des Shōgun in Kamakura. Sie markiert den Aufstieg des Kriegeradels gegenüber dem Hofadel in Kyōto, der in der Heian-Zeit noch dominierte.
