it’s about a person trapped in the wreckage of their own mind—someone who wants redemption so badly they can taste it, but every time they reach for it, the past clamps down like chains. “Devil’s repent” isn’t a clean apology; it’s the sick loop of guilt and self-hatred—wearing shame like a brand, feeling cursed by what you’ve done or what you’ve become, and believing you’re past saving even while you’re still begging to be saved. The imagery of fire, ashes, broken wings, and endless night paints a spiritual war that’s really an internal one: trauma, addiction, sin, depression—whatever the demon is, it lives inside, and the scariest part is the "narrator" can’t tell where the devil ends and they begin.

Devil's Repent

Echoes of Light is an independent music producer who transforms emotion, memory, and real human experience into atmospheric, progressive and cinematic sound. The project was born during a period of deep personal loss, where music became a way to survive, to heal, and to give meaning to moments that words could no longer carry.

With roots in the classic hi-fi world of the 80s and 90s, and supported by formal training in sound engineering, Echoes of Light combines technical precision with emotional depth. Years of work in mixing through the Cambridge Music Technology program helped refine a unique approach to sound design — from controlling bleed in drum recordings to shaping immersive textures and expressive dynamics.

On the technical side, the project has been strongly informed by educators and engineers such as Dan Worrall and Mark Daniel Nelson, whose in-depth explanations of plugins, dynamics and mixing workflows helped shape a deeper understanding of modern audio. The creative inspiration itself, however, comes from within: from lived experience, personal dedication and a constant search for honest expression.

Musically, Echoes of Light blends progressive metal, atmospheric rock, and cinematic soundscapes, creating tracks that feel intimate, emotional, and expansive. Every composition carries a fragment of a story — a moment of truth captured in sound.
