🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 Founding member of Scottish dance band 2 Part Meth, enjoying a renaissance with original dance track creations after an extended hiatus.

Since 2007, Paulo's dedication, drive and ambitious attitude towards the scene quickly gained him notoriety on the club circuit attaining him a Rock-Solid, well deserved reputation for outstanding underground music and flawless live performance. It’s his addicting sound of ‘ever-evolving chunky percussive grooves’ and ‘deep pulsating basslines’ that has earned Paulo some very well respected resident spots with highly prestigious, well-established Ibiza-based clubs ‘In Bed with Space’ & ‘Bora Bora World Tour’.

As a serious musician from well under 10 years old and now under his own name Paul-Terence, writing and producing electronic music is where his heart firmly lies. Working now as an experienced and confident producer he has dedicated his time to creating an entire catalogue of new production material developing an exciting and significant musical style, with lashings of chunky tribal groove, carefully crafted driving basslines and indulging in dramatic, old-skool big-synth influences. Watch out for the first pieces, on course to begin distribution to a fantastic response in early 2020.

Paulo regularly worked the legendary Phazon-powered main room Basement at the legendary Sankeys nightclub voted "Best Club in the World" by Mixmag in his home town of Manchester, where he grew to receive huge accollation from top names he played along-side; such as M.A.N.D.Y., Smokin Jo, Jonathan Ulysses, Jo Mills, Paul Woolford, Ralph Lawson, Tim Sheridan, Javi Munoz and many more.

Touring over previous years has seen him perform in many venues up and down the UK(like ‘Sankeys’ Manchester, ‘Honeyclub’ Brighton, ‘Mission’ Leeds, ‘The Cross’ London, 'Egg' London, ‘Canvas’ London, ‘Void’ Sheffield are just a few) and traveling mainly further afield to perform throughout Europe; Cyprus, Spain, Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, Greece, Turkey... the highlight of which was to play with Jo Mills in 3,500 capacity open-air arena which was the climax of a week-long tour of Turkey.

For deejay and producer Lockdown, this is the second chapter. And — in the noble tradition of ‘The Godfather, Part
2' and 'The Empire Strikes Back' — it looks like the sequel is set to be even better than the original.

A few years ago, he'd got his foot on the ladder, winning a few competitions and beginning to score himself bookings.
Real grown-up life with all its inconvenient commitments came calling, however, and music was forced to take a back
seat for a while. Then, the combination of redundancy and the covid pandemic unexpectedly presented him with the
time and opportunity to revisit his passion.

(The answer's no, by the way. The pandemic isn't why he's called Lockdown. He always was, so the covid connection is
pure serendipity!)

Having started raving in his native Bournemouth as a teenager — possibly a few years shy of the legal age,
although you didn't hear that from us — his original genres of choice were happy hardcore and old skool. Having been
exposed to classic rock, soul and Motown by his parents, his older brother had introduced him to the electronic side of
things and when he first experienced the atmosphere and energy of a rave, he instantly fell in love with it.

Lockdown was born and there was no going back.

Discovering DnB in room two of a hardcore dance at the sadly now-defunct Manor club was the final piece of the
puzzle. Studying luminaries like Brockie, Nicky Blackmarket, Mampi Swift and Ray Keith gave him the inspiration he
needed to begin collecting DnB vinyl and practising as many hours as he could.

Supplementing all that deejaying practice, a music production course on his return to DnB added another string
to his bow. Now, he's ready to take things to the next level, bringing the maturity of hard-earned professional experience to bear on this next phase of his career.

And that career has been gaining momentum, as has his stylistic progression as a deejay and producer. Techstep,
jump up, liquid, neuro... If you've caught a Lockdown set you'll know he stays well clear of pigeonholes. It's about
taking his audience on a journey through the music, giving them those same wide-eyed vibes he was smitten with back 
at The Manor.
