This is the set I performed for Oblivion - The Psychedelic Gathering which was organised by the Psy Family Mauritius team on the 5th of January 2019.

This one isn’t so much weird as it might actually be possible. An advanced ETI, upon graduating to a Kardashev II scale civilization, could lose all galactic-scale ambitions. Once a Dyson sphere or Matrioshka Brain is set up, an alien civilization would have more action and adventure in its local area than it knows what to do with. Massive supercomputers would be able to simulate universes within universes, and lifetimes within lifetimes — and at speeds and variations far removed from what’s exhibited in the tired old analog world. By comparison, the rest of the galaxy would seem like a boring and desolate place. Space could very much be in the rear view mirror.

Welcome to this new series of Artist Collections on NANO, featuring carefully selected tracks from recent singles, EPs and compilations of featured artists. 

We launch with the man of many names and sounds, Dickster (Dick Trevor) also known as or part of : The Green Nuns of the Revolution, Bumbling Loons, Circuit Breakers, Vogon 42, AAAH YEAH, Green Oms, AMD and many others.. 

Dickster is quite simply a force of trance nature. He was right there at the inception of what people came to know and love as the Goa Trance sound & psychedelic trance music and he can count himself as one of seminal producers of the scene. 

Part man, part machine - Dickster has a connection with his studio that most producers can only dream of. He has been called upon by everyone for all kinds of musical advice, which he offers freely and enthusiastically. Never too busy to help, whether it's part of the Shpongle LIVE show or lending an old synth to an enthusiastic teenager and helping him set it up. He can count Riktam 'GMS', Junya 'Eskimo' & Leon 'Avalon' among his former students! 

He has more collaborations & side projects then many artists have birthdays including: Circuit Breakers with Burn in Noise, Bumbling Loons with James Monro (Flying Rhino), AAAH YEAH with Nano Records label boss Regan, Infinitti Gritti with Ajja and Burn in Noise, Dickster & GMS with Riktam from GMS and many more past, present and future!

Dicksters' cheeky and brilliant mind has much to offer, and has already provided a massive backbone to the history of Psytrance and Nano Records. 

His own live and DJ sets under his Dickster moniker always deliver the most driving acid tingling dancefloor workouts with infectious grooves. Dicksters' vibe is filled with the block-rocking love of funky complexity, mesmerizing detail, unstoppable movement and best of all, real psychedelic music!

Earthling Vs Paul Taylor-Jungle Juice

Paul Taylor began his DJ'ing career as a DAT dj in the season of '96 in Goa. Travelling back and forth between Goa and the U.K , he spent the late nineties running a Trance record shop on London's Portobello Road. By 1998 Paul had began to play  for some of London's major party groups:- (Kundalini, Escape From Samsara, Enlightenment etc),and was rapidly gaining a following within the booming U.K scene of the time. In 2000 he joined TIPWorld records as a label DJ/Co A&R ,and for the next two years became to be known internationally, as both a TIP DJ, and for his track selection on compilations. In 2002, he left London to live in Ibiza , and spent the next 3 years co-producing music with artists such as Earthling, Soundaholics, CampoSonic (Earthing, Bushman and Paul Taylor). Whilst in Ibiza he also joined Spun Records as Label Dj and A&R, and compiled the top selling Spun Compilation:'Tweakers'. Paul has co-produced many tracks with some of the leading artists in the scene such as Earthling, Wizzy Noise, Joti Sidhu and Psysex. His DJ compilations include Time and Space 1&2 (Maia Recs. Mexico), Tweakers (Spun), Freedom Fighters (Crystal Matrix Recs). His first Artist album: "HIGH LIFE" received excellent reviews and sold out soon after it's December 2008 release…This album defined a whole new sound in the Psy Trance scene, which was further explored in his 2009 release: "PURITY".  Both Albums having served as catalysts in redefining the ever changing sound of the World's Trance Scene. After getting so much positive feedback from both Producers and Fans, it seemed a logical progression to commission some of Paul's favorite fellow Producers to undertake Remixes of various tracks from these last 2 releases. The result was “REDUX “, which was released in December 2010, and has since received worldwide acclaim as a groundbreaking release that pushed the format to greater highs.
In December 2011 Paul released a follow up sequel to the 1996 Spun Records Classic VA: Tweakers..The new and up to date Tweakers V.2.0 immediately entered all of the major digital download charts and once again reconfirmed Paul’s ability to source and present the most cutting edge sounds from the Worldwide Psy Trance scene.
For 2012 Paul will be busy producing his third Album “Limitless”, as well as playing at many of the summer festivals such as Ozora , Tree of Life and Vuuv.
