When compiling the story of Markus Schulz's career, his connection with the people of Los Angeles, and particularly the legendary venue of Avalon in Hollywood, would require a book-long chapter. A venue in which his dedication to the open to close performance of the DJ art excels, he returned on Saturday February 1 for his latest adventure. A city and area reeling from the devastation caused by forest fires, his goal for the night carried an extra emotion as a result, aiming to provide those affected with a small sense of escape, at least for a little while. 

This set forms part of Markus' monthly Global DJ Broadcast World Tour series - providing a snapshot of his sounds in the liveset envrionment; spread across famed clubs and festivals around the globe. The next will take him to Soundcheck in Washington DC, where he will play on Valentine's Night, Friday February 14.

Toulouse is the center of peak time TECHNO in France and Plein Phare is THE local promotor. They have hosted an array of shows, including the airfield show for native Space 92 and their residency Techno Bunker shows in Le Rex de Toulouse. Belocca played Le Rex for the first time on NYE in '23 and a musical friendship instantly sprung. Marcel & Milio (Plein Phare) asked Belocca to do a project together, et voilà! Topped with another big solo jam from Marcel DK, this 2 tracker is punchy, bouncy, energetic and full on. Last but not least, on April 19th Plein Phare hosts the release party in Le Rex de Toulouse with all 3 techno cats on stage. Njoy!

Paul Tognelli - Break The Code

Originally from Lyon, Paul Tognelli is a techno music DJ and producer. He began composing and producing at an early age.
Combining Trance and Techno, Paul Tognelli transports his listeners on melodic and emotional layers, before thrilling them with powerful and percussive drops.
He launched his project at the end of 2023 with his first release “Encore” in collaboration with MIZER, a track that defined his inspiration for techno.
In 2024, he decided to give his project a foundation and released his first EP, “Metamorphosis”, a blend of trance techno and edm with a touch of acid.
His energy behind the decks and his ever-moving stage presence give life to the music he shares with his audience. Inspired by both underground and mainstream sounds, Paul Tognelli continues to innovate in a bid to make his mark on the techno scene.
