The quality of the recording is not the best, but i thought i'd share it anyway. The jam itself is far from being perfect, but that's the charm of a live set. Anyway I had a lot of fun while playing and i hope you enjoy it!

<p>Stefano Noferini is on fire and continues his trend on his own imprint Deeperfect but this time can’t be more excited than that as he teams up with New York based DJ and producer Boris. First up on this EP is the title track &#8216;This Is Not The Future&#8217; and wasting no time in order to realize this track is going to be a summer techno anthem. A driving bassline cut and a funky groove, flowing nicely with solid drums in the foreground. Quality stuff to kick things off. Next is &#8216;Oula&#8217; and again both of them deliver a techno funky cut this time. Perfect bassline combined with the intricate drums as well, this production again is a peak time material. An excellent set of productions from both of them, Stefano Noferini and Boris showcasing the quality stuff are coming out from Deeperfect as well</p>

Dinky delves further into her Chilean roots while softly embedding the rhythm of the night with next single ‘Blind’ from the album ‘Dimension D’.  Inspired by old Jazz of the 30s and 40s, Dinky weaves a beguiling story with the acoustic swing imbued with her own electronic touch. Stepping up for the first remix are part-time collaborators Hreno and The Mole who deliver the MHMD Remix stripping almost entirely the original’s voice and melody, instead leading with a carnivalesque drum groove and frayed, oscillating synths. Scandinavian disco lord Prins Thomas keeps the melody in tact but encases it in a framework of spaceout spooky disco for his ‘Diskomiks’ and fantastic moody Dub.

Alejandra Del Pilar Iglesias Rivera was named Dinky by her sister at birth. Born and raised in Santiago, Chile, as a child she studied Ballet and the Suzuki method of piano before relocating to New York to become a contemporary dancer.

Her drive to make music brought her to Berlin a decade ago where she quickly became a dominant force in dance music, making her mark through releases on Carpark, Cocoon, Ostgut, and the critically acclaimed ´Anemik´ album in 2009 on Mathew Jonson´s Wagon Repair. Her fifth studio album, ‘Dimension D’ on Visionquest sees her evolve into singer-songwriter and performer and take on a new musical direction.

Chris Hreno and The Mole are both revered Canadian producers residing in Berlin who have joined forces in the past on remixes for various labels including Turbo Recordings, Haunt, and Souvenir. The Mole has had prolific solo output including his exceptional debut album on Wagon Repair ‘As High As The Sky’. Hreno has made a recent comeback to production with EPs on Sound Architecture and Meander.

Prins Thomas is widely regarded as a pioneer of the space-disco sounds emanating from his native Norway. Joining forces with Hans-Peter Lindstrøm in 2003, the pair both have a background in bands - Prins being an accomplished bass player - and they run and release music on own labels Feedelity, Full Pupp and Internasjonal.

Visionquest 033 is brought to you by the unique sonic voice of Hamburg trio Wareika, who weave a distorted jazz looseness into the pulsing and ever-evolving analogue framework of ‘Madame Scorpion’. A teasing raw live composition with a tribal heart, the undulating percussive groove rolls beneath haunting strings and an expanding soundscape until space opens up for a rising melody and Florian's deep absorbing vocal. Veteran German house producer Henrik Schwarz turns in a magnificently wonky remix on the flip.

Wareika started as a project in 2007 and the vivid interaction of the three musicians, Henrik Raabe (Guit, Perc), Jakob Seidensticker (MPC, Arrange, EFX) and Florian Schirmacher (Voc, Synths, Perc) forms one of the very few bands in the electronic worldwide circuit.

With a collection of shining releases on prestigious labels such as Connaisseur, Eskimo, Future Classic and Circus Company, and three studio albums on Perlon, liebe*detail and Tartelet Records, Wareika’s style ranges from Balearic to deep Techno, jazzy House sounds and from Balkan-Jazz to dubby riddims but always retains the smart intellect, depth and dynamism in composition Wareika is known for.

Their thrilling jazz-marries-techno live shows will now be captured on vinyl and CD with a fourth full-length album ‘Wternal’ recorded in one 65min take and due on Visionquest in October 2013

Henrik Schwarz has amassed a cult following for his compelling live sets and releases over the past decade and is now one of the most in-demand artists on the dance scene. Championed by the BBC’s Gilles Peterson early on, Henrik’s magic touch now graces the catalogues of inspiring labels such as Innervisions, Moodmusic, BBE and his own Sunday Music.

This month marks the passing of the lauded rapper Notorious B.I.G. and to honor his legacy, New York resident DJ Finesse debuted a special tribute during DJ Premier's Sirius/XM show "Live From Headqcourterz" on March 8.

The mix showcases Biggie's a capellas paired with Premier-produced beats. While the original tribute was shorter for air-time, Finesse extends the tribute for hip-hop fans here with a special intro by Premier himself.
