Evosonic Radio was the world's first independent radio station for electronic music, which could be received via cable and satellite from 1997 to 1999. 
Evosonic Radio did not submit to the conventions of format radio, but gave its music editors and DJs a lot of freedom. 
This concept, unique in Germany, won the "German Dance Award" in the "Best Medium" category in January 2000. Chris-Maico Schmidt aka Mike S., who was responsible for the music played most of the time as program director, accepted this award. 15 years later he founded Evosonic Records. Today, as then, Chris-Maico Schmidt makes sure that the label does not submit to any conventions and that his artists have the freedom that is indispensable for the one same goal: high musical quality - then as now.

No. 1 and No. 2 in the UK Underground Dance Charts, Top Ten in the iTunes and Beatport Charts.
As an instructor at VibrA School of DJing, he taught music production with Ableton and DJing from 2004 to 2018. 
He was resident DJ at OZ-Stuttgart, Cave Club-Salzburg. Co-owner of Delirium Record Shop, Stuttgart. He currently lives in Cologne, Germany.

Emro is a progressive house and trance producer based in New York. He aims to captivate the listener through his groovy beats and uplifting melodies which will make the listener go on a ride of emotions. Already supported by some big names in the melo prog and trance scene and released on well respected labels. Emro wants to leave his name set in stone in the years to come, be sure to expect great things from him in the near future.
