For this journey we are going right back to the early days of electronic dance music. We're right at the peak of elastic style productions with literally every kind of being mixes together with and creating new sounds. The belgium techno scene already entrenched with the label r&s and morphing of that sound in the urban ghettos, mixing it together with harder breaks and beats where hardcore went on to become drum and bass. It was a great time for music, and a great time if you were into dancing into the early hours of the morning. I've pulled some slabs from right near the start at the summer of love in 1989, UK representing and US representing. While the US had been holding up strong with labels like nu-groove, the uk movemement was about to push itself onto the scene where it would hold the crown basically undisputed forever more. I hope it brings back lots of good memories!
