We took a short break on the radio but we're back with a brand new episode featuring Dutch based DJ and fashion tastemaker, Elliqa!

Part of the Sosodality crew, Elliqa was born in the Hague and was involved in fashion before her passions grew into a love for DJ-ing back in 2018. She's heavily influenced by the sounds of Soulection and conveys her love for eclectic selection of music through R&B, Soul and Future Beats.

Elliqa takes over the show and shares some of his favourite tunes from Dave Nunes, Tera Kora, Krs. and more on this 60 minute mix. Enjoy!

Launching their label WhatWhat Records and their musical collaboration back in 2008, the pair have gone on to release their music on labels like Mambo, Jackmode and Monaberry.  The brothers are now focusing on their latest label, Hommage, and will be releasing their second full length album soon, the follow up to 2012’s Happy Body Music.

Pawas Gupta (known professionally as Pawas) is an Indian-born DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin. With a classical foundation, particularly training on the tabla and self-taught skills in percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards, he began his DJ career in India at age 17. In 2004, he relocated to Europe, rapidly establishing himself in Germany’s electronic scene.

Transitioning into music production, Pawas made a strong entry in 2007 with the release "Katang" . Since then, he’s released popular tracks like Det (with Daso), Playtex EP, Bummelzug, Piano Rain, Naja (with Arooj Aftab) and Camel blues, on respected labels including Spectral Sound, Connaisseur, Squonk, Get Physical and Night Drive Music. Many of these have been supported by heavyweights such as Dubfire, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Marc Romboy, Jimpster, and Satoshi Tomiie. 

His signature sound fuses melodies, musicianship, atmospheric textures, deep house, and Detroit-influenced grooves—what he calls intelligent house. Pawas’s musical journey bridges his roots in classical Indian music with his experiences as an independent producer in Germany
