Summer Mixtape 2022

It's the time of the year in germany when some love it and some of us are struggling to cope with the change of weather. mentally & physically. For a smoother transition i have put together a few of my recent findings via Soundcloud weekly (highly recommended) and radio (yes very old school, but it is still the best medium to discover music) So if you are feeling the autumn blues, turn this mix on, it will at least distract you for about 2 hours

Es war kurz nach dem Garbicz 2017 als ich bei SC über das erste Set vom Amount gestolpert bin. Angeworfen und sofort war mir klar … das geil. Als ich dann rausgefunden habe das Amount das Soukie zum Windish ist war mir alles klar. Seitdem verfolge ich das Projekt stetig. Zu meiner großen Freude macht Nayan in letzter Zeit auch mit Amount gerne Podcast und war sofort für unsere Reihe zu begeistern. 

Über Nayan könnte ich jetzt noch viel schreiben … URSL, Soukie & Windish, WUZA … aber ich lass mal lieber die Musik sprechen … viel zu warm heute.

Spring Mixtape 2021

Pawas Gupta (known professionally as Pawas) is an Indian-born DJ and electronic music producer based in Berlin. With a classical foundation, particularly training on the tabla and self-taught skills in percussion, bass guitar, and keyboards, he began his DJ career in India at age 17. In 2004, he relocated to Europe, rapidly establishing himself in Germany’s electronic scene.

Transitioning into music production, Pawas made a strong entry in 2007 with the release "Katang" . Since then, he’s released popular tracks like Det (with Daso), Playtex EP, Bummelzug, Piano Rain, Naja (with Arooj Aftab) and Camel blues, on respected labels including Spectral Sound, Connaisseur, Squonk, Get Physical and Night Drive Music. Many of these have been supported by heavyweights such as Dubfire, John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, Marc Romboy, Jimpster, and Satoshi Tomiie. 

His signature sound fuses melodies, musicianship, atmospheric textures, deep house, and Detroit-influenced grooves—what he calls intelligent house. Pawas’s musical journey bridges his roots in classical Indian music with his experiences as an independent producer in Germany
