2004: The First Award in the State Tadeusz Baird’s Young Composers Competition in Warsaw, Poland. 

"Introspections" start with a string quartet’s quotation of a soothing hymn “Nearer, My God, to Thee” (text: Sarah Flower Adams) based on the tune “Bethany" by Lowell Mason (1856) contrasted with polytonal relation interventions of the pianist. In the second, opposing phase more restless and moving ostinato sections predominate. The piano chords interventions sign syntax mometnum of the piece and conclude it.

Polish Composer (M.A., 2002, "F. Chopin" Academy of Music in Warsaw,  Prof. Zbigniew Baginski's class), music theorist (M.A., 2000, "F. Chopin" Academy of Music in Warsaw, under Prof. Maria Piotrowska), musicologist (Ph.D., 2005, University of Warsaw, under Prof. Zbigniew Skowron), researcher, lecturer.
