This song cycle contains texts of three poems by the Romanian DaDaist poet Tristan Tzara. The premiere took place in 2017, performed in its original version for voice and piano by tenor Callum McGing and myself. Erik Satie and the composers of Les Six were a major influence on the three songs, and attempts were made to capture the spirit of DaDaism in the music.

This is a work for flute, clarinet, trombone, and string quartet. It is about endometriosis, a disease in which cells like those in the endometrium, the layer of tissue that normally covers the inside of the uterus, grows outside, causing a significant amount of pain and heavy bleeding in menstruating people (and other primates). The music is largely atonal to create feelings of great discomfort. The piece was designed to create awareness about people who suffer from this condition.

Premiered in Bangkok, Thailand as part of the Triphens Ensemble concerts on November 28th and 29th, 2025.

• About this track: Little track I composed in about an hour or so, suspiciously inspired by Chopin. Still struggling with coming up with chords, I guess replacing those with light arpeggios instead works just as nicely. Not a complex melody but it's really fun and a nice exercice to realize how much a track can develop and change while staying in the same key and style all the way through, even for a barely minute long track.
