ABOUT THE SONG

First I tried to make a calypso song. But I was unable to do it... So I changed it into a 80's style track.

My daughter Daphné (5) wanted to sing on that song, so I recorded her.

Made with Ardour (DAW), Rosegarden (midi), Hydrogen on Ubuntu Studio. I used my voice and my guitar.

Also not new sorry, originally scored to film for an assignment in 2016. Flute represents an innocent boy playing with a ball. Piano and general drama elements represent a lonely man wandering the streets (I didn't choose this).

The "climax" in the music is when the boy kicks the ball into the road and a car is coming, and a crash occurs, which the old man witnesses (without doing anything ??). The boy somehow wakes up and lives happily ever after.

Weird assignment. But hopefully you can see why I scored it the way I did.

There are extended silences between some of these parts which I shortened.
