Laima Adelaide is a producer of electronic music, focusing on deep techno and ambient. She also graduated from studies in contemporary classical composition at the State University of Music and the Performing Arts in Stuttgart and sound engineering at JVLMA in Riga. 

She performs Live Sets with her own music experimenting with ambient, heavy beats and sound design textures.

She has performed in several Clubs and Festivals in Europa like Mostra Barcelona, GARE Porto and UNDER Festival Riga. She has also founded the label Predawn Records.

Description
In this set I use the Elektron Analog 4, Syntakt and Moog Mother-32 as tools for musical expression. The idea was to play with distortion and resonances and create an acoustic space around it.

We've got a special selector playing her Blitz debut upcoming Saturday, the 4th of May: Ceri! And we're happy to have her contributing an hour of music to our Blitzcast series ahead of her performance, too.

Her journey into the world of dance music was ignited by legendary venues like Fabric, Plastic People, and Ibiza’s DC-10 – rites of passage for many UK dance music fans! Now, armed with a wealth of experience and as the label head of Find Your Own Records she’s a marathon-set seasoned selector, focusing on deep house and drawing inspiration from timeless Chicago and Detroit sounds, as well as dubbed-out soundscapes and the grooves of UK-Garage.

Ceri had a few words on the mix, too!

> I recorded this mix on a rainy day in Ibiza, so it has some darker, raw and moodier elements, with many tracks having a minor key, plus of course some happier and housier, with some vocal numbers too, to lift those spirits. Most of the tracks are old from the 80's and 90's which is my favourite period for proper House and Techno.

I hope it captures the sounds of Germany, the UK, Chicago, and Detroit, which are all where all my biggest musical inspirations and love for music comes from. One track is currently going for over €100 on discogs, another is the bargain price of €0.55 and just as good (if not better!), some are unreleased, a few are new, one track I got someone to bring all the way from the USA for me, and in my opinion, all are timeless, which is what I love. I only play music that touches my soul in some way... 

I am very happy and honoured to be playing Blitz Club, a place with such a revered music policy, great line ups, and a no camera rule, which always makes the best nights for me. 

When there are no phones on the dancefloor, the crowd are always so much more open and up for it, because they are there for the music first. I always feel like I let loose even more when I am in places like this too, I feel more comfortable to dance like crazy, sweat, and experiment more. I am really looking forward to seeing what happens on Saturday... I don't know what will happen yet because I have to feel the energy on the night to know where to go. And I am sure we will go on a beautiful journey together.

It is day four of our special colab week with the House meets Techno label SEVEN and we are super, super excited about this set from Shaleen because it is her House music debut! Yes, she went digging for classic House vinyl, spent weeks in the studio and is super excited to share this new facet of her musical journey with us.

Shaleen is well known in techno circles for her vinyl-only sets, combining her love for analog sounds with her deep passion for music. Her style blends the nostalgic elements of the 90s with modern influences, creating a unique and personal sound. You will see this also through her House set which we absolutely loved.

Dadub თავიდან იტალიელი არტისტის და ხმის ინჟინერის,  Daniele Antezza სოლო პროექტი  იყო, რომელსაც Giovanni Conti 2008 წელს შეუერთდა. მათი ინდივიდუალური და განსხვავებული მუსიკალური გამოცდილების ხარჯზე, ახალი პროექტი თავიდანვე ორიგინალური იდეების მატარებელი გახდა. მათი პირველი სოლო რელიზი, სახელწოდებით "Way To Moksha"  Stroboscopic Artefacts-ზე 2012 წელს გამოვიდა. მას მალევე მოჰყვა რამდენიმე EP და სადებიუტო ალბომი “You Are Eternity”, რომელიც წლის ერთ-ერთ მთავარ ტექნო მოსვლენად იქცა.

The authors of the 11th mix for Bassiani podcast series is Dadub, an Italian electronic music duo and mastering engineers, based in Berlin. Dadub used to be a solo project started by sound designer and musician Antezza in 2008. At this time Daniele came via Rome where he'd plunged himself into production and electronic music. Soon he was joined by Conti who was working on the interactive digital art projects at that time. Both members are working in Artefacts Mastering studio and are highly connected to Stroboscopic Artefacts label where they have released 4 EPs , including "Way To Moksha", "Preternity" and recent critically acclaimed debut album “You Are Eternity”.

“We care a lot of low frequencies and deep hypnotic atmospheres, and we both were drummers, so we guess the beats are important for us, both the patterns and the sounds,” –Bassiani’s 11th podcast mix is all about cinematic conceptual techno, ambient and dub. Antezza and Conti, a duo whose output is underpinned by a mutual curiosity, bring us dynamic, abstract musical adventure, with its ups and downs. Starting with atmospheric, dark oriented intro, the mix turns into diverse rhytmic section and end up with solid techno records.
