After surging into the spotlight in 2022 via a series of high-profile collaborations alongside Lee Foss, CID, and Martin Ikin, UK-based DJ/producer Joshwa is looking to keep things moving for 2023 as an artist at the top end of Beatport’s top-selling tech house charts. Up next, late March brings a milestone release as he steps out on Hot Creations for the first time, delivering a pair of heavily requested and lively productions across his ‘Bass Go Boom’ EP.

A boisterous and low-end heavy production loaded with vocal samples and spiralling synths, ‘Bass Go Boom’ is a rough and ready unapologetic anthem charged full of energy destined for peak time use, while ‘Supersonic’ offers a slightly paired-back alternative guided by rolling drums, and vibrant glitches and pops.

New York's Ky William makes his debut appearance on Solid Grooves with 'You & Me'.

Based in Brooklyn and featuring as a regular across a long list of New York's premier venues and institutions, Andhera Records boss Ky William is building a reputation which is seeing his name branch out Stateside and beyond. Releasing a selection of slick material via a wealth of solid imprints while playing alongside the likes of Loco Dice, The Martinez Brothers, Danny Tenaglia and Dubfire, his next outing welcomes a big label debut as he makes his first appearance on Michael Bibi and PAWSA's Solid Grooves Records with his new single, 'You & Me'.

A low-slung production built around crisp hats and punchy kicks, 'You & Me' delivers a rolling cut guided by hooky vocal samples and subtle eerie synths for a skippy and rumbling cut set to create plenty of heads-down, hands-up moments.

Solid Grooves Records co-founder PAWSA readies his second full release on the label with a remix from Denmark’s Anek.

2016 has been pivotal for Solid Grooves as not only has the event series concluded a highly successful debut season in Ibiza but the imprint has quickly cemented itself as an essential platform for house and techno, fast becoming a favourite for names like Adam Beyer, Huxley, James Zabiela, Nicole Moudaber and Groove Armada whilst dominating the upper end of Beatport’s charts. Alongside Michael Bibi, PAWSA is at the helm of Solid Grooves - a producer known for appearances on Gruuv, MOOD, Relief Records, Do Not Sleep and Lost Records.

From the off ‘Twiple Fwet’ demonstrates PAWSA’s inimitable percussive style before introducing a rumbling bassline and looped vocal sample that’s destined to keep crowds moving. ‘Angel Dust’ then meanders forward using crunchy drums as sporadic beeps and echoing effects add to the heightening tension. Concluding the package, Anek’s remix of ‘Twiple Fwet’ incorporates syncopated percussion, menacing throbs and spacelike effects.
