Upon This Sea - with Jonathan Beckenstein

In the heart of a ravaged battlefield, angels and demons clash beneath a blood-red sky. Their swords, once gleaming with divine light, are now stained with the blood of their fallen brothers and sisters. But amidst the chaos, the sound of an orchestra rises—a haunting symphony woven with strings, brass, and the ethereal voices of a choir. The music stops time itself.

The angels, covered in blood, lower their weapons and look to the heavens. Their wings, once bright, are now weighed down with the weight of countless souls. The choir’s lament grows louder, its voices resonating with sorrow and rage. Together, the angels cry out to God, their voices rising above the music: "Is this what you wanted?!" Their words echo across the battlefield, a desperate plea to the Creator.

The demons, too, stop in their tracks, the music seeping into their souls. The orchestra swells, capturing the deep anguish of both Heaven and Hell. Above, God and the Devil watch, their eyes locked in a moment of reflection, neither able to answer the cry that hangs in the air.

As the symphony reaches its peak, the music asks a single question, one neither side can answer: Was this war worth the price?

The choir falls silent, the final note fading into the darkness, leaving only the quiet whisper of fallen wings and lost souls. The battle may resume, but the wound left by this question will never heal.

Update: Been a while since I since I released a track on here. Finished my undergraduate degree in Cardiff and moved to London to start my masters.

Deeper is a bit of personal track for me.  Since moving to London, I have felt really anxious about the move and not feeling good enough for my masters course. Slowly but surely the creativity has started to come back but I have been struggling to write for the past few months. Since a few weeks ago, I have started to regain confidence in myself. Therefore, I would like to dedicate this track to those who are suffering with imposter syndrome at the moment, as no matter what happens, things will get better and believe that you are enough.
