Space Kraft invites another solid artist to the ‘Spacecast’ series, straight from beautiful Frankfurt: HOF (DE). 

The German DJ/Producer delivers a stomper modern techno set from his studio, and more good vibes have now been shared! Enjoy!

Artist Bio:

“ DJ and producer HOF has served as an indispensable talent across the dance music spectrum in his 25 year-long career. 

Having previously chartered released via leading labels Sony Music, Atlantic Records and Spinnin’, more recently, the Frankfurt native has been honouring his techno roots and building a back-catalogue of cuts that nod to Germany’s golden era of dance music. 

This growing collection of records combine classic acid sounds with clever melodies and driving basslines in a modern guise, and as such, are championed by many top-tier artists, the likes of Adam Beyer, Wehbba, Hi-Lo, Umek and I Hate Models. 

Initiating this newfound perspective on techno with immediate success, HOF’s debut releases “The Return” and “Dark Passenger” (2021) for Fe Chrome received worldwide acclaim and assumed their respective #20 and #1 positions in Beatport’s Peak-Time Driving Techno Chart, with the latter rounding out the year as #12 on the best-selling techno releases.

An exciting new face on the scene GIGEE is fast making her mark, recently stepping up as the closing DJ at Jakarta’s infamous superclub Colosseum, fresh back from an Asia tour through Thailand and Singapore, and with sets at Batofar Paris and KaterBlau Berlin under her belt she is rapidly becoming a staple behind the decks at leading clubs around the world. Music can often explain feelings better than words” - something you could also say about the creative work of the Leipzig based producer. Impressed by the diversity of sounds, he started to play DJ-sets and produced his first own tracks in 2013. After exploring various styles under different pseudonyms, gradually his taste in music got shaped and led to his alias “Aio”, which was born in early 2016. His music is characterised by variable soundscapes with an eye for detail. Strong kick-bass-grooves meet melodic sketches which will move your body and let the mind flow. Releases on labels like Parquet Recodings, DENSE AUDIO and KE//ER give a hint of his versatility in sound design and got great feedback from other DJs and the crowd in the clubs. Catch him playing his live-sets, where he performs just own productions or mixing a DJ-set, telling you his stories.

The momentum is firmly with Cowlam right now, hot off the back of another hit release on the renowned Spanish imprint Beatfreak Recordings. The lead track 'Jupiter' is as imposing as the planet itself, a cosmic atmospheric feel throughout with a distinctive piano chord sequence which ties it all together, the breakdown replicating the tensions of a rocket launch countdown and the drop achieves lift off...to Jupiter.

Gemini is the counter to Jupiter with its dark atmospheric pads and heavy organ lead, a heavily orchestral influenced piece of work, inspired by Cowlam's own star sign and reflective of his emotional state – dark and loud, a powerfully moving piece of music.
