Paypi (Solo artist) has been a very heavy influence in the Rap Industry locally in his career.  Born in the Bay Area - Redwood City, Northern California and raised in Capital City of California, South Sacramento. Paypi became influenced with the Hip-Hop Scene at an early age after living in the rough streets of South Sacramento. As his street credibility all obtained at such a young age, around the period of his junior high school years the death of his mother took a toll on his life, it played a major role in his musical development which ultimately lead to a career pursuing his passion. In 1992, releasing his first couple of writtens, he ventured into what he felt the only thing he had left, and what basically was what molded the key and started the engine to his new found first love, Hip-Hop, his unique and timeless lyrics that subliminally explained stories of all that he was exposed to, his mentality, and his way of living, HIS LIFESTYLE. What really set it off, was another huge fall in his life, came at 24, all he had left, his father suddenly past away. Leaving him without his parents at a young age during the time when others usually needed their parents the most. He was part of a Hip-Hop Music group called, Causes Company. His influences were Jay-Z, Nas, C-Bo, Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Notorious B.I.G., Dana Dane, Tupac, Hieroglyphics, Pharcyde, Biz Markee, Run DMC, Blackalicious, The Roots, Outkast, Wutang Clan, Dr Dre, Snoop Dogg, Mac Dre, Master P, and many other great artist. Now in 2014 with the long hold. PayPi has another EP ready to be released in this mid-summer of 2014, and the follow up album “Once Upon the END“, a Tribute album about his lifestyle, representing Wells Records, and Music Group - LSMG (Loop Side Money Gang), and now falling under his own label, as CEO of The Thrive District Label. These hard hitting albums will feature many other artist that are well know in the Hip-Hop Industry. The album also features production from, several well-known producers in the West Coast. With the high anticipation of the album, a high budget music video, electronic press kit and hot TV commercial its sure to be a hot seller! Be on the look out for that album. Although this is only Paypi's sophomore release, he is a stranger to the public eye with only a few appearances on soundtracks and compilations, but he has yet to shine and will catch the ears of the lost souls of the streets, he will inspire many to exit the competition.
