Joe $cott, an American rapper and producer from Bridgeport Connecticut, is known for his lyrical prowess and ability to adapt traditional hip hop themes to modern trap beats. Despite recording himself rap throughout his teenage years, his professional rap career is said to have truly taken off when he started to work with Turkish hip hop producer Solo (known for his millions of streams with MAW and other RedKeys artists). With a juxtaposed collection of extremely dark tracks and inspirational melodic ballads, Joe $cott represents both the creative spirit and the historic significance of the hip hop genre.
 
In addition to his contemporaries, Joe $cott notes Hopsin, J.Cole and Kendrick Lamar among major influences on his music.
