Born and bred in Tzaneen, Limpopo Province; Aliphatik is a dance music producer, composer and DJ based in South Africa. He started making music professionally in 2011 after being introduced to South African House Music legend DJ Ganyani. His debut single "All I NEED" was highly anticipated after the release of his remix of DJ Fresh's song "Cherrie". ALL I NEED was featured on various charts in SA, the likes of the Boomchart, Y Urban Top 40 on YFM and more radio stations.

He made his TV debut on SABC1's Masters of spin show(1's and 2's) as a contender and was amongst the Top 4 contenders. He has worked with House Music giants in SA, the likes of DJ Fresh, Ganyani, House Victimz #KOTW (SPHEctacula & DJ Naves) and more.

His recent single "Aba Dibone" got a synchronization deal on a NETFLIX original series called JIVA released in 2021. Aliphatik is the founder of ALIPHATIK MUSIC; a production company that creates music and theme songs for film and television. The company also publishes music and renders music consulting services to emerging musicianS.

Aliphatik also co-founded AFRICA INSTITUTE OF MULTIMEDIA; a media school based in Limpopo Province, so far the school has trained 94 learners in a 3 months credit bearing (NQF 5) Film & Television Production Course and hosted 2 music business workshops.

Aliphatik is currently working on his second EP due to be release in Summer 2022.

I make beats, tracks whatever you wanna call it, my inspiration comes from the likes of Henrik Schwarz, Bugge Wesseltoft, Kuniyuki, Abdul Ibrahim, Floating Points. yeah i don't know what to call the kind of music that I make but it comes from House Music, Ethnic fuzed with Jazz
