This is a brief sketch in fast 10 (or slow 5, if you want). Created on an SR-16, this is a beat that I use to improvise over when I play bass. I'm using a Spector bass here, along with synth pads played in real time on my laptop keyboard in GarageBand.

This clip would make a great soundtrack.

Written by Norm Rau and performed by Norm Rau, John Ford and Gerard Hamilton. Recorded with two mics into a Panasonic cassette boom box, then bounced to a cheap Technics cassette deck through JT Corenflos' Ibanez multi-effects unit for vocals and guitar solos. All done in two passes, live, in Lee Towery's single car garage in Nashville, Tennessee.

I have played in theater pits, concert bands,  orchestras, rock bands and everything inbetween. Music truly has no bounderies and can connect people - music is life.
