For over 3 decades, Ryan Lum has been crafting ethereal soundscapes, first with Suzanne Perry (and other special guests) then later with Anji Bee. Lum has captivated listeners with his enchanting compositions and delicate guitar work, seamlessly blending acoustic and electronic elements, coupled with emotive female vocals, creating a distinctive dreamy and introspective ambiance. Some of Lum’s work is under the name Love Spirals Downwards and some under the shortened moniker, Lovespirals.

Suzanne Perry worked with several other musicians in a band called Melodyguild from 2002 to 2004. In mid-2008, Projekt released a 4-song EP of the band’s work called “Aitu.” In 2021 it was added to streaming services under the name Love Spirals Downwards, but Ryan Lum was not involved in that release.
