My Enhanced Game MIDI collection consists of MIDI files I sequenced and routed through my Yamaha Motif ES8 keyboard, utilising its rather nice-sounding General MIDI samples. The staff view was played with Cakewalk Express and the presentation was recorded with CamStudio. All instruments use the standard MIDI patches unless otherwise noted. To follow the notes in the sequence and to ensure the best sound quality, viewing full screen in 720p (HD) is strongly advised.

Link has beaten Ganon, saved Princess Zelda, and restored peace to Hyrule!  While watching the credits for The Legend of Zelda, this cheerful extension of the Game Over jingle plays.  I wrote a MIDI rendition of the song in 1998, arranged in the style of an anonymous author's MIDI version of the Title Theme (entry #4 at VGMusic.com).  Like the Game Over theme, my Ending Theme MIDI was packaged with Zelda Classic, a fan-made game supporting custom quests.

Similar to my take on Game Over (from The Legend of Zelda), I decided to turn the Ending Theme into a fuller, perky arrangement that remains true to the source.  The recorder lead in the arranged section is a nod to the Recorder (also known as the Magic Whistle) found in the game.  You can hear the new content after the first loop.

Since everyone loves this track, I felt it was only proper to give it a spitshine and touch up using the new skills and tools I've gathered since making it two months ago. Inspired by the Spanish flair of Dark Pit's theme, this is a Latin fusion remix of the flight theme for Chapter 6 in Kid Icarus: Uprising.  Rather than following the guidelines of salsa rhythm, the percussion plays by its own rules, much like Dark Pit.  It is a Latin freestyle beat with a hint of salsa in the arpeggios to give that recognisable flavour.

For my 30th WarioWare D.I.Y. record, I wanted to arrange something truly substantial.  I've done remixed chiptunes before, and even some medleys.  But what about a remixed medley mash-up of various Nintendo series?  The mash-up concept of two familiar melodies played together became the gimmick for this special record.  What better way to celebrate the memories of the music from past first- and second-party Nintendo games?

In this chiptune, you'll discover at least two songs from each featured series being played simultaneously.  That's 23 songs spanning across ten different Nintendo game series.  Songs from the oldest games of each series are panned to the right, while songs from a succeeding generation are panned to the left. Not every classic Nintendo series is represented here, but hopefully the songs featured in this record salute most of the series which made impact throughout the years.

This record marks the final systematic entry to my WarioWare D.I.Y. Records series.  Future entries may be released as special uploads.  I hope you all enjoyed the records!
