Her single 'City Bird' was play-listed across the BBC Introducing network -picking up fans such as Nick Grimshaw, Greg James, Clara Amfo and David Rodigan along the way. 

Leaning heavily on her love of traditional Jamaican music (thanks to her Jamaican mother), she has worked with Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry and created dub reggae stylings which mix into her pop influences such as Amy Winehouse, Paulo Nutini and Lily Allen and Dido. Written and produced by Bud and her brother in their home studio, you could easily be mistaken for thinking this was recorded in deepest Kingston with a selection of JA's finest veteran session musicians. 

Following a busy summer of playing festivals throughout 2017 such as The Great Escape, Boomtown, Splendour and Y Not, as well as a main stage appearance at Bestival (sharing the stage with both Dizzee Rascal, Laura Mvula and Rag'N'Bone man!). Bud is now fully focused on delivering new music to her quickly growing fans.
