I've always loved humming over my favorite tracks.. I think I've been doing this way before I even started writing my own music. Imagining how a track could evolve or transform by adding my voice became almost like a habit to me. I could (imaginatively) collaborate with all my favorite producer heroes in my own little way. In this mix, I improvise vocals over a range of different tracks that I love.

Can't Hide It (Timms Remix)

Pearl Crush is the solo effort of Houston-based musician, producer and vocalist Mandy Kim Clinton. Clinton creates across genres, combining synth and dream pop with R&B influences and ambient flourishes. Pearl Crush layers lush guitars, textural synths and intimate vocals over counterpoint drum beats and orchestral MIDI work. 

Since her debut release, Clinton has stayed busy playing festivals like Day for Night & In Bloom Music Festival. She is also co-founder of DAMN GXRL, an emerging platform for women, non-binary and queer artists of color in Houston, Texas.
