Intro:

RodYak started Dj’ing in 2002 at the young age of 15. As of today, with over 10 years experience and several radio shows and venue/club sessions under his belt RodYak is venturing into the underground venues of Barcelona to set his mark with his unique style of House.

BIO:

Having first started first as a part time Dj at a local radio station in early 2002, Dee Jay 89.5, RodYak, hosted a one hour live mix show that aired five times a week called the One Hour Techno Mix. Living in Honduras this opportunity opened the doors to the venue and club events where he got known for his style. 

After several small underground venue gatherings, live events and a part time Residency, in 2005 Rodolfo moved to the US. During his 4 year stay and several venues and club events later RodYak finds himself in Spain since 2011 experiencing the music and feeling that is the underground scene in Barcelona. 

Having a unique style, RodYak brings new sounds of House to the table. His style ranges from deep to funky house with a long track-list that can make you experience house at its purest and fullest state.

An experienced DJ, Miss Dix has played alongside high profile artists such as Lilly Palmer, Saytek, Roger Sanchez, Groove Armada, D Ramirez, Shadow Child, Markus Schulz, Paul Van Dyk, Sister Bliss, Danny Howard and many more from across the UK, to international hot spots including Brazil, Italy and Antigua. 

Major events  or brand names played for include The Gallery, Defected Records, Notting Hill Carnival, Hed Kandi, Global Gathering Festival UK. 

Expect to hear an emotive selection of sounds from Deep Tech House to peak time Techno.
