BSV: Hello Eduardo, it’s nice to have you in this session list. Summer (clubbing) season already over in Brazil?
EDUARDO DRUMN: Hello, thanks for the invitation, in normal circumstances we would be in the high season of parties here in Brazil actually.

BSV: Fat basslines, trippy percussions, melodic sound. Is that your music description?
EDUARDO DRUMN: Yes, particularly the bassline and the melody are the main thing in my productions, it reflects on people.

BSV:  You are also a well recognized producer that provides mastering service. How long have you been in it and why should we use your track finalization?
EDUARDO DRUMN: I've been working with mixing and mastering for more than 7 or 8 years, I don't remember it very well, but I'm always studying, specializing, trying to improve my work. There are many good engineers around the world with analog equipment, but for Brazil this equipment is very expensive, so I provide a digital service where I try to get as close as possible to an analog service. One of my productions Solomun played. Hahaha

BSV: Your followers know that you are collaborating in the studio with Fran Bortolossi (@franbortolossi). If we listen your collabs, seems like easy going. Is that true?
EDUARDO DRUMN: Yes, we are good friends, we are always trying to help each other, with songs, plug-ins, ways of producing, ways of mixing.

BSV: This listening experience bring us to unknown Brazilian beach. Where does your inspiration come from?
EDUARDO DRUMN: In the beginning I was in love with famous sounds, incredible melodies, over the years, I wanted to do the best sound for me, which I liked, so when I hear some sound on a track I find myself looking at nothing and thinking away, that’s the sound I’m looking for, so I try to take it to the DAW.

BSV: Your all time favorite electronic music tracks?

BSV: If we go through your releases we notice that you did only few remix edits. Should we expect new ones soon?

Welcome Hohme Radio 137 // b2b Enamour @ SET 10YR, Part 1

No one knows where Rïa is really from. Currently based in NYC, her multicultural roots come from growing up in Sri Lanka, London, Dubai & India.

When curating a set, Rïa's focus is always on her audience: she loves making them dance, taking them on a journey fused with eclectic sounds that hint at her diverse upbringing - resulting in sets that range from melodic techno to ethnic deep house. Ultimately, her vision is to bring that same multifaceted groove to her music productions, and to interloop different musical boundaries with emotion.

Some words from Ria: A new year begins, and with that so does this mix of melodic house infused with some dance tracks. It includes my remix of Jordan Arts "Not Alone" that just released on House Music With Love last month, and a few new IDs! I hope you'll enjoy the mix as much as I did making it.

First mix of my new series INCEPTION. The series' main goal is to show you and arouse interest for tracks that have been inspiring me.

We've heard oenologists say the best of white burgundy hails from the Cote d’ Or near Dijon, France. The best one we've ever tried has its origin in Australia: rich, elegant, balanced and deliciously dreamy! Join us in welcoming Double Touch to the team with their outstanding White Burgundy!  

Sydney and Los Angeles based Classical Pianist/Composer Van-Anh Nguyen and DJ/Drummer/Producer Mark Olsen blend their two worlds together to form a unique dreamy mix of acoustic and electro sounds. Ranging from ambient soundscapes to Melodic House, Double Touch brings their live musicianship deep into their creations.

Double Touch are official All Day I Dream artists with multiple releases and performances at the All Day I Dream events around the world.Their shows are a unique blend of a traditional DJ set and live performances, adding in live keys and drums, improvising new directions into their music during their live sets. The synergy and connection between the two is contagious from the stage.

After Lee Burridge played 3 Double Touch songs in his MIXLAB NYC set, Double Touch emerged onto the scene in 2019 with their debut EP on All Day I Dream – “Adagio” which took out the No.1 releases spot on Beatport (Electronica/Downtempo) as well as appeared in the Top 100’s in other genres. Since then, they have released everything from downtempo music on Buddha Bar, through to their club style on TrybesOf. Their Chorophobia EP (TrybesOf) hit Top 5 (Melodic House/Techno) on Beatport. Their debut single “Broken Paradise was also featured on a Ministry of Sound compilation CD.

Double Touch have performed their DJ set with live instrumentation at events all around the globe, including Return to Rio Festival 2019 (Australia), Cercle (Omnia Indonesia), Golden Gate Park (San Francisco, USA), Cloud 9 (Fiji), Glow Rooftop (Vietnam) and Omnia Bali (Indonesia).

White Burgundy | Double Touch

Rashid Ajami's favorite sip is a glass of Sake. Although there are plenty of various styles, the Japanese national drink made from rice is usually rich in texture and has a unique subtlety of flavour. And we completely see similarities to Rashid's beautiful music. 

Since his emergence in 2012 was instantly spotted by the likes of Maya Jane Coles and Ramon Tapia whose remixes featured on his first release, Rashid has steadily released critically acclaimed tracks on labels such as AnjunaDeep, Eklektish, Einmusika and Noir. He and Julia Govor released ‘A Regret’, a much admired four tracker, while 2017 saw his collab with Nathan Daisy, ‘Dance Pain’, on Noir’s Dark Stars 003 Compilation and singled out by Pete Tong for BBC Radio 1. DJ gigs included Mysteryland festival, New York’s Marquee et al.

Last year he added Get Physical, Tube & Berger’s ZEHN, Tale & Tone, and Blufin to his imprint portfolio, putting a renewed wholehearted focus on music after the multitalented producer, unusually, took a brief break from the DJ booth to build a successful tech business.

Now having achieved material success and a solid back catalogue of releases, Rashid is passionate about producing music for its quality and ability to inspire dreams and emotion. ‘If I can achieve that goal with even one listener, I’m happy. I want to be true and honest with what I make.’ As a DJ, he loves to play long sets, around 6 hours, to craft the best and most emotionally resonant journeys for the crowd, while at the same time choosing records for their dance vibe – if a track makes him feel like dancing, it’ll get the crowd moving too. Reluctant to be pinned down to a genre, style or niche, he allows his music to evolve naturally.

Appropriately therefore, though obsessed with music since childhood- playing piano and violin since he was 8 – he loved all genres and rejects the idea of any specific influences. ‘I used to freestyle, breakdance and bought my first techno album at 12! I still freestyle for my friends over a hip hop instrumental when we are chilling.’ At university in the US, he began making his own music through such simple beginnings as Garageband and Logic, finding that his natural talent and feel for a vibe resulted in tracks which made a lasting impact. 
 Now in talks with big name galleries, Rashid plans a suite of original digital artworks with music: some big scale multimedia immersive installations involving other artists are also in progress. There will also be an intriguing series of limited vinyl releases as artwork. 

With an increasingly exciting year ahead full of new releases and new terrain to explore as DJ, producer and artist, 2021 marks a musical renaissance for Rashid Ajami. And we're proud of being a part of it!

He launched his professional career in 2013 and has since brought his music to Argentina’s most iconic electronic music venues, such as Mandarine Park, The Bow, Crobar, and Estadio Obras. His broad musical range, exploring the nuances of house music, allows him to create a unique connection with the audience, turning every set into a special experience.

Throughout his career, he has shared the booth with major global scene figures like Guy J, Eelke Kleijn, Monolink, Damian Lazarus, Adam Ten, Guy Mantzur, HOSH, Roy Rosenfeld, Matthew Dekay, Sahar Z, and Catz N Dogz.
He also stands out as the artistic director of HYDE, a production company renowned for creating cutting-edge electronic music events with immersive audiovisual concepts.
