Yearnings of the Wind always reminded me of Joe Hisaishi's works, so I decided to do something about it
The idea for using this song specifically came after @Skyleo mentioned how Kiki's Delivery Service and Chrono Trigger's soundtrack influenced a recent work of them

Singing Mountain in the Sky

This is the demo track I made for the title sequence in the first episode of Infinity Train. I made this in October of 2016 in Reason, but Chrome Canyon expanded and elevated it with real analog synths for the final soundtrack. I pitched the storyboard to the first episode while playing this song and it helped convince Cartoon Network to greenlight the show!

Tokyo-based DJ-producer Mars89 is a club music experimentalist with an intrepid mixing style. Launching his career with his own cassette tape and zine bundle 'East End Chaos' in 2016, his sound was picked up by Bristol-based label Bokeh Versions. 

Following the release of his first two EPs on the imprint, Mars89 began making scores for film. He was hired by Louis Vuitton to produce the music for its 2019 A/W Men's collection advertisement and was also tapped to create the score for a film about Japanese pop artist, Keiichi Tanaami. Currently, Mars89 is a resident DJ of Bristol's Noods Radio. He is set to perform on the night headlined by Tiga as well as Takkyu Ishino and Young Juvenile Youth.

This is the first one on this series that I did in the actual SPC format first, without doing it on a DAW
I made it in MML in the original format for Chrono Trigger's soundtrack, it was a bit complicated but it was worth it!
