أصبحت أشغِل نفسي عّنك .. لا أفكر بك كما سبق

أركُض إلي أورجـِحّتي السوداء .. 
كُنت أخبرك بأني أريد اللُعب عليها تقول لي باستهزاء ‘ أنت ما زلتي طفلة !!
‘ نعم .. اكتشفت أنني طفلة.. كنت طفلة بقلب أنثي ..
طفلة وأمثالك لا يعرفون... لا يعرفون كيف يحتضنون براءتها
أصبحت أذهب إلي الكِتابة وأكتُب لي وإلي الله وليس لك مثلما كُنت أفعل غالبـًا .. 
اكتشفت أنك لا تستحق .. ..
لا تستحق أن توجد في ذاكرتي يا عـزيز ! 
كُنت دائمـًا سبب في أوجاعي التي أصبحت جُزءاً من حياتي .. 
لا أعلم كيف صّبرت عليك !!

لا أعلم كيف كُنت حمقاء إلي هذه الدرجة !!
دومًـا كُنت أوهم نفسي بأنك رجُل .. رجُل بكل ما تحملُه الكِلمة من معانِ .. 
ولكن ما كنت إلا ‘ شبه رُجل ‘ ... تُجيد رسم الشجاعة والشهامة .. 
تُجيد تمثيل الأدوار المُختلفة !!
أتذكُر ؟! 
أتذكُر الليلة التي هربت إليك مُسرعة أريد إحتِضآنك... اريد إحتضآنك و بشِدة حتى أشعر بالأمآن ..... 
كيف كنت أمامي و تحتضنني ؟!
نعم .. كُنت أمامي وتحتضنني .. 
لكن أحاسيسك لم تكن معي .. أحاسيسك لم تكن معي .. قلبك الذي أسمع نبضاته .. كان مع أخري .. ! 
كُنت أشعر بالبرد القارس ...
كنت أشعر وكأن جسدي يرتعش .. 
أخبرتك حينها... بأنك لست معي .. 
قُلت لي بأنك مُتعب من روتين الحيـاهً المُعتاد 
التزمت الصمت حينها لم أنطق بحرف .. كل ما كنت أريده هو إعتنآقك .. 
إعتناقك الذي لم أشعُر بالخـّوف وعدم الاطمئنان إلا فيه 
! يا الله كم كنت غبية .. كُنت بلا عقل عندما كُنت مغمورة في دوامة في ذلك الحب.. 
لكن الله لا يسمح لك باكتمال هذه الخدعة الدنيئة ! 
أتعلم لماذا يا عزيز ؟! 
لآنه يعلم ما كان في دآخلي نحوَك .. يعلم بالذي كان في نيتـي .. ويعلم أيضًا بما كان في داخلك .. أنا كُنت أريدك زوجي. وأنت تُريدني نزوة عابرة .. !!
كم الفرق بيننـا كبيـر يا عزيز ؟! 
أنا الأن أنثي مُتمردة .. لا تسمح لاحد أن يخدعها .. لن تعطي فرصة لاحدهم أن يوهمها بكلامُه المعسول..
أصبحت أدرك كل شيء حولي .. أصبحت أنثي ناضجة .. أنثي تدرك ما تقوله وما تفعله .. أنثي لن تنخدع مـّرة ثانية .. فأنت كُنت الدَرس يآ عزيز ... كنت الدرس الذي أرسلهُ الله لي كي أتعلم مِنه..
أريد أن أصفق لك يا هذا ..

Brought together by their common love for soundtracks and Italian library music of the late '60s and early '70s, the four members of La Batteria are veteran Italian musicians with experiences ranging through progressive post-rock (Fonderia), indie pop (Otto Ohm, Angela Baraldi), experimental jazz (I.H.C.), hip-hop (La Comitiva, Colle der Fomento), and world music (L'Orchestra Di Piazza Vittorio). The band performs original compositions influenced by songwriting from the heyday of Italian movie glamorama: music for images made between 1968 and 1980, by such masterful experimental composers as Ennio Morricone, Stelvio Cipriani, Alessandro Alessandroni, Bruno Nicolai, and bands such as Goblin and I Marc 4. The band plays all vintage instruments, but their debut self-titled album is not merely a revival; it's a projection of the past into the present. So, between the lines of their cinematic prog-funk, one can detect traces of afro-beat, hip-hop, and kosmische music, all filtered through a typical Italian feeling. La Batteria was conceived in Rome, the same area and environment where those soundtracks and library records were made. The album was mastered at the historic Telecinesound, owned by Maurizio Majorana (former bassist for I Marc 4), and was originally intended as a library album for Romano di Bari's Flipper Music (parent label of such cult labels as Deneb and Octopus Records). La Batteria's balanced sound maintains a continuity not only with the '70s Italian sound-world, but also with an entire movement that brought Italy to the attention of listeners around the world. It was a time of experimentation in the fields of music, theater, cinema, and visual art -- a whole cultural revolution now renewed. The visual elements of La Batteria -- Luca Barcellona (aka Lord Bean)'s cinematic logo and Emiliano Cataldo (aka Stand)'s cover art -- also establish a magical short circuit between past and present. Played by Emanuele Bultrini: mandolin and electric, acoustic, and classical guitars; David Nerattini: drums and percussion; Paolo Pecorelli: electric bass; and Stefano Vicarelli: Hammond C3, Clavinet, Fender Rhodes, harpsichord, celesta, piano, Mellotron, Minimoog, Prophet-5, and Dot Com System-66 modular synthesizer. "Formula" features the Patchani Brothers.

In 2010 Anathema released We’re Here Because We’re Here, the band’s first new album for almost seven years. The album was awarded Classic Rock’s Prog Album of the Year as well as a host of other accolades and the producer, Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree), has described it as “definitely among the best albums I’ve ever had the pleasure to work on.”
The band now return with Weather Systems, their brand new studio album. The album will be available as a limited edition 2 disc set which will come packaged in a deluxe digibook and feature a 5.1 surround sound mix of the album.

Anathema have been at the forefront of the UK rock/metal movement for many years. They began their journey as pioneers of melodic heavy music, influencing a myriad of bands to follow them, before outgrowing all genres and limitations as they fearlessly explored new territory and new ways to express feeling through sound.

Formed in Liverpool in 1990, the band’s sound, and musical vision has continually evolved over the ensuing years while always remaining true to their original goal of creating forward thinking, meaningful, passionate and honest music. The line-up is really a collective of two families who were quite simply born to do it. Anathema consists of brothers Vincent, Daniel and Jamie Cavanagh, alongside childhood friends John Douglas and his sister Lee, who is an incredible singer in her own right.

There is a deeper bond in the group that transcends usual band politics, ego, and self-interest. They have a shared vision: to make the most incredible music they possibly can, and it seems, despite the lavish praise heaped on the band for their past work, that they are now taking their work to a whole new level.
