Bio:

Immersed in the synth-pop and electronica of the Eighties growing up in southern England, State Azure (b. 1972) found early inspiration in Jean-Michel Jarre, Tangerine Dream, and Vangelis. Deconstructing their tracks ignited his passion, leading him to develop a foundational understanding of electronic music theory, composition and production entirely by ear and experimentation.

He honed his skills as a keyboardist and producer within live bands before venturing into solo ambient/experimental territory. This self-taught journey fostered a deeply improvisational and emotional approach, free from the confines of formal training.

State Azure's sonic world is further shaped by influences beyond music, drawing heavily from science fiction, cosmology, physics, and technology.

Seizing the opportunity presented by the burgeoning online music scene, he launched the State Azure project to connect directly with listeners, debuting with the album 'Outlines' in December 2011.

I met Cockroaches  http://soundcloud.com/cockroaches_-the-qube-_  through an internet music site, after coming back from Leipig ,Germany where my film Dark One had Premiered. I noticed that he was often offering up many free sounds for a program I was working with called Reason. I decided to thank him for the sounds and things took off from there. He watched Dark One and decided that my proposed Dark Too project(now titled Indoctrination), might be fun to work on... One year later, using file sharing sites and compatible music software, wa are working on a massive archive of songs . The Indoctrination release will be likely 3 CDs in duration, and I will make an experimental feature film from the better moments of the works. The voice as in (Dark ONE), is a good friend of mine.... a street poet.... (Dan Biholar) struggling with addiction and searching for spiritual redemption and discovery.Stay Tuned for the new film and poetry/soundscape Indoctrination coming soon to a theater near you.... The Qube has OVER three cds worth of audio material in the works. - a new sound and focus has begun - a new adventure to explore. THE QUBE IS COMING. Indoctrination-a 3 CD Spoken word / soundscape adventure and Experimental Feature Film exploring  intelligent design, the evolution of man's spirituality and his compassion for humanity, while destroying himself and the world due to character flaws. A drug addicted street poet's musings on man's role, human nature, self examination and spirituality warped through perceptions of mass media, literature, and art. In the end, the truth of events becomes secondary to our perception of these events, and the world we live in. Soundscapes will be completed first and then Darryl's 2nd experimental feature film.

Mezonoize is an instrumental project by Roberto Andreani. This project draws inspiration from Mike Oldfield, Alan Parsons and other great instrumental music artists. The song "Perfect Pyramid" is the first song of an album with the same name available now for pre-order and released in early 2018.
