I was brought up on Motown. Then I moved to England 25 years ago. Began that journey with Orbital, Hawkwind and The Day to Day. I started going to Planet Angel, Whirly Gig, and fell in love with breakbeat after visiting the Fats Bar in Camden in 2000. My birthday is on Notting Hill Carnival. Ive been very lucky to have some excellent DJs and lovers of music throughout my life who have given me a wondrous appreciation of music, including punk and and indie.
