Centered in Sound - Feb '25

Argentinian DJ based in the Netherlands, immersed in her passion for dance music. Resident DJ at Saturo Sounds radio for two years with the show: GALACTICA
Her journey in the electronic scene began in 2008 in Córdoba. Transitioning from event promoter to DJ, she developed a captivating style that seamlessly blends hypnotic and emotive elements of house and techno.

She established her own techno venue, Gia Club in Barcelona where she showcased a variety of DJs every Saturday night for two exhilarating years. Upon relocating to the Netherlands, she set out to forge her path in the world of DJing.

“I’m an inherently sensitive person; music has always resonated with me on a profound level, and my greatest desire is to share that immersive experience of joy and connection with others,” she reflects. “Honestly, I never envisioned myself as a DJ. My true love has always been dancing and being part of the crowd. Yet, life has a way of unveiling your purpose when you least expect it. The first time I played, I discovered a rush of heat and exhilaration that transported me beyond time and space—a true state of flow.”

About Albert XL:

Albert XL is a DJ from Villa Dolores, nestled in Córdoba’s scenic Traslasierras Valley. Born in Buenos Aires and raised in a family of musicians, his journey began with vinyl records at age 12 and a fascination with club culture soon after. Shaped by the sounds of Pink Floyd, Depeche Mode, and Hernan Cattaneo, his sets span Progressive House, Organic House, Deep House, and Melodic Techno. A longtime advocate for sonic storytelling, he has hosted radio shows on Elektronaradio, MuthaFM, and Blaqhol Radio. He was also a resident DJ for the U.S.-based label Exist in Sound, where he connected global listeners with deep, melodic grooves. Today, he continues to curate Ticket to Fly (Radiotronica) and Night Connection (Mixcloud), blending emotion and rhythm in every set.

I'm just a small-town Canadian boy who loves music.

I started listening to electronic back in 2000 after my brother lent me some CDs for the summer from Sasha & Digweed, Moby, and Orbital. I got into the dance scene shortly after and found a strong connection to trance with DJs like Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, and Ferry Corsten, while making some incredible friendships along the way. 

My first attempts at any kind of mixing were late-night vinyl sessions with my roommate listening to some classic trance and house and eventually putting together a simple set-up on my Mac to make some mixes for my commute. I’ve always liked the idea of being able to create a sort of soundtrack to my day-to-day and admire my friends who’ve made a career out of it as they bring such a positive impact to the lives of so many. 

I’ve spent the better part of my adult life abroad - first in China and now in Italy - and music has always been something that keeps me grounded and focused.
