'imprvisioned' 
another sleepless night that led to something live on my phone.

I can't imagine a world without you,
so now I know exactly what you felt
when you watched your folks a-growin'
beyond ages unbeknown
and inevitably faced the card we're dealt.

That we all live for dyin'; always trumps our best at tryin'
to cheat aging through fad diets and regimes.
But, I'm no longer lyin' to myself, and quite compliant, 
with defiant habits that will soon kill me.

Because without being with them, I'll have lost all of their wisdom 
of which typically flew right over my head.
And I wish I could've listened and embraced their larger vision, yet now I'm just wishin' I was the one dead.

This one is about the times we're in and trying to find ways to handle them without getting sucked under. I mean, things are bad enough without people writing depressing songs about how bad things are... I heard some good advice about finding a place for the despair and not letting it consume you, so that's in here. As well as working together, music, and thinking about what comes after this - it might be good, right? Hopefully we'll still have arpeggiators 🤞
