Midge Ryall is a poet and writer based in the North-East. She has performed her poetry at venues in Durham, Newcastle and Manchester, and was commissioned last year by the NewBridge Project: Gateshead to create new work and facilitate creative writing workshops as part of the For Solidarity exhibition and events programme. Her work explores themes of trauma, identity and the power of storytelling.
