Experimental sound designer, and classically trained violinist. I feel that it’s important that music should not just be heard, but experienced. I try to use instruments, sampled field recordings and frequencies in an unorthodox context. Headphones will help you in hearing and experiencing all the subtle nuances of each piece…enjoy.

A native of Houston, Texas, Tony Salinas is primarily a self-taught musician since get his powered toy-organ at age 4.  In the 1980s he fell in love with the predominant synth sounds that permeated the airwaves in that decade.  Bands like New Order, Erasure, and Depeche Mode were and still are amongst his largest influences.

The 1990s were a time of maturation for Salinas, both personally and musically.  Electronic music was coming into the mainstream, and he developed a taste for the industrial sound.  Ministry and Nine Inch Nails were becoming new favorites, and his horizons broadened.

Upon finishing his studies at university, Salinas sought out ways to develop as a musician, purchasing the first of many software solutions to help create the music he loved: Cool Edit Pro. From there he began multi-tracking, learning to record demos, and defining his own sound.

He bought two crucial pieces of gear in 2002 that are still part of his musical arsenal: a KORG MS-2000 and Reason 1.0.  Floored by Reason's versatility, he started migrating away from Cool Edit Pro.

In 2002 Salinas joined with Hayden Peltier to form an experimental and downtempo project called Orange. Using Reason to produce an album, the project never really took off, the songs stagnating in the demo phase. However, just two years later, Salinas was invited to join DCS, a large collective of electronic DJs and producers throughout Central and South Texas.  A year later, in 2005, he teamed up with DJ Anominiss to create his first publicly distributed single, "Seraphin," which premiered at a rave in front of a thousand partygoers.

Salinas took time off from his musical career to start a family during the late 2000s, but by 2011, he found himself yearning for a new frontier. That is when he reunited with his childhood friend and current collaborator, J. Vance Tyree. And thus modulator.demodulator was born.

I am an artist wearing many hats and hyphens.

As a Filmmaker, I am humbly growing and learning in the collaborative process of the creative arts, the technical crafts and the business of cinematic storytelling. (producer, director, writer, cinematographer, editor, composer, sound designer, actor, marketing and distribution executive, and also getting donuts and coffee.) 

In the music industry, I dive into Songwriting, Composition, Sound Design, DJ(Remix, Dub Artist, and Turntablism/Looper) as well as handle the business of music publishing, marketing and distribution. 

I am a music lover, curator of large libraries of playlists and also a vinyl record collector.

Noise Jockey = Nathan Moody. Nathan is a sound designer, musician, and mastering engineer. His work has appeared in award-winning documentaries and games, as well as interactive installations, dance performances, and feature films.

Zap-Pascal is a musician who play accordion, electronic, flute, and use other sounds from his imagination, in solo and in groups since the eighties of the last century... Previously, he played saxophone, slide trombone.

Different experiences between folk tunes, jazz, classical, contemporary, electronic & art - rock music give him large possibilities to explore sounds with himself & other musicians !
