the interdisciplinary festival named rhizom has developed out of a collective dedicated to cultivating alternative electronic music and arts. it commits itself to uniqueness, character, innovation, passion and diy-spirit.   

at the rhizom festival the social responsibility of culture and its consumers will be discussed and envisioned through readings, film, dance, music, video and installation art. untypical, organizational initiatives will be tested. gathering moments will allow connection for further creation. the rhizom will sprout.

Dany Digler plays in Schade, Los Orioles and other Swiss bands. Among other things, he's also a concert promoter and a big music lover. 

2nd episode in the Music for Indoors series, he sent us this great New Wave / Synthwave / No Wave mix with great current bands as well as 80's ones.  

The mix relates to his record with Schade called LE SOLEIL on Cheptel Records. 

Schade is a duo born in 2013 following the union of 2 active musicians of the Swiss alternative music scene, Brynjar Thorsson (Welington Irish Black Warrior, Double Pig) and Dany Digler (Dee Diglers, Love Cans, Trash Mantra). They created a clever mix between their various influences, giving birth to a hybrid sound described as French chanson taking roots in Post-Punk and New Wave tinted with psychedelism.

The group played for the first time at the Swiss Psych Fest and many opportunities followed after that show. Soon the duo got exported abroad performing in many countries across Europe and the US.
