From way of Berlin we are very pleased to welcome the 6 piece psychedelic outfit of 2Morph.

Perhaps unknown to many, this group of friends (father & son included) have spent the past two Summer’s travelling the wilderness of Europe in their bus - winding through the hillsides & mountain tops, beaming out their live band freak-outs for select village goers.

This 50 minute cassette of 100% OG material, hauled back from their recent trip to the mystical land of Panaceum (a hidden valley in Germany rumoured to house the elixir of life's ails) is naturally well soaked on a Krautrock tip - with psychedelic hymns & hypnotic percussion, detaching from the linear plane. 

Float down stream & let your mind wander outwards to the healing sounds of 2Morph.

The Australian ship Southern Surveyor sails toward the Eastern Coral Sea in November 2012. The crew is nervous when approaching the coordinates of Sandy Island north-east of New Caledonia. Minuscule archipelagos and stone-hard chalk riffs are common in this area. Captain Fred Stein and marine geologist Maria Seton have ordered their crew on deck to scan the waves for dangerous riffs or seabed sightings. Some of the scientist on board follow the search on the computer screen – and are amused to live-track their ship as it crosses the black pixels on Google Maps labelled Sandy Island. The explorers have undiscovered an islet that has been on the maps since Captain Cook charted it on his second voyage as lying off the northern tip of New Caledonia. A British Admiralty chart of 1908 that includes Sandy Island warns: "Caution is necessary while navigating among the low lying islands of the Pacific Ocean. The general details have been collated from the voyages of various navigators extending over a long series of years. The relative position of many dangers may therefore not be exactly given."

Silent Moves is a soundtrack for movements, for a solo performance of a listener be it internal or external. Breath is a movement of air in space as well as a thought. It’s hard to know, see or detect their trajectory but it’s always there shifting momentary weight in silence.
Two tracks open up the space to complete a piece individually, absorb, digest, feel an impulse to move or maybe not.
The record is accompanied with an instruction score open for interpretation and realisation in a personal manner.

The piece was inspired by a strong desire to connect mind and body via feeling sounds with a whole self noticing complex structure through which sound waves travel in a constant flux. The work is an ongoing research of body responses to life and never ending inner dialogue.

There is always a movement even if you think there is non.

Their newly formed label already has a stellar cast of artists to its impressive catalogue; Bear Bones, Lay Low, Employee, Pawel's Bar & DJ Plead all feature. This label has become an instant mainstay here at Greenhouse and a standout for futuristic, experimental digi-dub rhythms and bass-heavy tribal workouts. Our latest mix, recorded by Kilian, steers away from the label's heavier, club orientated sounds to deliver an hour of ambient and experimental sonics, OK SPIRIT style.
