Penny Deluxe is a fresh and vibrant power pop band emerging out of Sydney, Australia. Formed in 2024, the trio consists of Adrian Vaughan on vocals and guitar, Paul Sommer on vocals and keys, and Andrew Mansfield on bass. Their playful name, Penny Deluxe, reflects their approach to melody, rhythm, harmony, and lyrics. They dive into themes of romance, inward and outward exploration, joy, drinking, and downright good old fashion fun.

Drawing inspiration from the melodic hooks and energetic grooves of classic power pop bands like Sloan, Weezer, Butch Walker, The Card and Badfinger, Penny Deluxe adds a modern twist with their piano-driven sound, catchy upbeat lyrics, and infectious harmony.

The band released their debut single "Flying Blind" in April 2024. With its triumphant chorus and liveliness, the song lays a platform for what fans of the genre can expect when the full length album drops later in the year.
