idk why but, 
whenever im experiencing a hardship, i tend to listen to the ending theme from super mario world. there's something oddly melancholic about it. 

anyway, something happened with my peeps that mentally hit me hard enough to come back to this mf soundcloud diary and put up another journal entry. 
the situation is sort of a straw that broke the camel's back type thing. something like this happened in the past, but i was too mentally weak to think that their relationship could continue; i was already thinking that it was over and reflecting about good times in the past, but my other siblings stepped up and kept them together and showed me that i can't give in just quite yet. so now that it's happening again, im not faltering. im gonna keep pushing on regardless. 

the distance is wide refers to multiple things, the physical distance between  my parents and, the physical distance of my parents living apart from each other, the distance my dad'll have to trek to to find his own healing from his past traumas and struggles, the distance that he further created between him and my mom by doing the actions he just recently did, and the distance of life in general. 

kinda sucks that this all just happened to occur on birthday but, it eeez what it eeeez

when i was feeling down and was listening to the ending theme of super mario world, i wondered if there was any lofi remixes of it and when I found this instrumental on youtube, the captions opened up with: "You still there?
